Since 2014, we've helped First Nations and Métis communities run elections and other voting events all across Canada. In 2021, we launched a successful online Status Card Renewal platform. The Role


We're seeking a Client Project Manager to guide Nations through their electoral events with expertise, care, and cultural sensitivity. You'll be the primary relationship holder for multiple Indigenous communities, ensuring their elections run smoothly while respecting their unique governance structures and election codes. This role combines project management excellence with relationship building, all while supporting democratic processes that strengthen Indigenous self-governance.

This role is about service through partnership. We're looking for someone who values community trustattention to detail, and respectful collaboration while delivering flawless election services.

Ideal Candidate Profile


You should have:
  • Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, client services, or related fields
  • Ability to build trust and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Understand Indigenous governance structures and decision-making processes
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously


What You'll Do


Client Onboarding and Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Nations throughout their voting events
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand community needs and practices
  • Establish clear communication protocols and expectations
  • Schedule regular check-ins to ensure high client satisfaction
Project Planning and Documentation
  • Create critical events timelines based on election codes and community practices
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget with documentation
  • Maintain organized records of all client interactions and requirements
  • Respond to incoming requests with clear and helpful information
  • Ensure all project documentation meets OneFeather's high standards
Service Coordination
  • Coordinate service delivery across the Elections Services team
  • Communicate timelines and requirements to internal teams
  • Participate in project portfolio reviews to ensure smooth operations
  • Work with Electoral Officers and Operations teams throughout events
  • Proactively manage client expectations while ensuring successful completion


Qualifications


Preferred experience:
  • 3+ years of project management or client services experience
  • Experience working with Indigenous organizations or communities
  • Understanding of Indigenous governance processes and election systems
  • Strong documentation and administrative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
